From Richmond, Virginia:
Take 1-64 West towards Charlottesville. Continue for approximately 60 miles, then take exit 118B to merge onto US-29 N toward Charlottesville/Culpeper. Take the US-29 BUS N exit toward Charlottesville. Turn right onto US-29 BUS N. Total travel time from Richmond, VA is approximately 1.5 hours.
From Washington, D.C.:
Take 1-66 W South to exit 43A onto Route 29 South. Follow Route 29 South until you reach Charlottesville. Once in Charlottesville, exit 29-South on to the Route 250 West Bypass (Lynchburg, Staunton, Richmond). Travel to the third exit, Route 250 West. At traffic light, turn left onto Route 250 West and drive for one mile. Turn left to go to Boar's Head. Turn right to go to Farmington Country Club. Total travel time from Washington, D.C. is approximately 2 hours.
From Atlanta, GA:
Route 1: I-85 North to Greensboro. Just outside of Greensboro, exit 85 and travel for several miles before exiting on to 29N. Take exit 120A on to 1-85 Business/US 70 East/29 North. After 6 miles, take exit 223 onto 29N towards Reidsville, Stay on 29N until you reach Charlottesville. Take 250 West one mile to Boar's Head and Farmington. Continue on 29 and take the Leonard Sandridge Road exit to go to the Inn at Darden.
Route 2 (more scenic & about the same travel time): 85N to Charlotte. Just south of Charlotte, take I-485N to I-77N. Take I-77 to I-81N towards Charlottesville. Take exit 118B on to 29N towards Charlottesville and Culpeper. Then take 250 West one mile to Boar's Head and Farmington. Take the Leonard Sandridge Road exit to go to the Inn at Darden.
Total travel time from Atlanta, GA is approximately 8.5 hours.
